Conventional Grain Farming
Conventional Grain Farming has been a family passion for many years. We continue to expand our acres and strive for effective crop rotations annually. All of our current crops are sold to the market and are not further processed on-site. Our current rotation is Hard Red Wheat, Barley, Canola, as well as Yellow Peas.
Cattle Business
Our cattle business started in 2013 when Emil and Ashley were given 8 cows as a wedding gift from Esben and Terri. Together, they co-own and operate all commercial cattle on the Larsen Farm. Their herd is currently 65 cows and 3 bulls and expanding. Ther herd Consists of a variety of breeds, including Red and Black Angus, Simmental, Charolais, Speckle Park, and a variety of crosses. All cattle are currently run with a Gelbvieh, Red Angus and Black angus bull and all calves are currently sold to market.
Custom Farming
E3 Quality is able to custom combine, swath, seed and hay as the season allows.
